Sources & Originality

Before publishing the U.S. edition of Strategic NLP, the manuscript was submitted to an independent editorial review of copyright, attribution and content originality.

The Strategic NLP terminology used in the book — Meta Model, Milton Model, presuppositions, anchoring, submodalities, deletion/distortion/generalization, representational systems — is field-wide, public-domain language that has been in common use since the 1970s. It is not owned by any single person or organization.

The bibliography consistently and correctly credits Richard Bandler, John Grinder, Milton Erickson, Robert Dilts, Noam Chomsky and other foundational authors in the field. The manuscript does not contain song lyrics, poetry, or extended literary excerpts from third parties.

The origin of every image and diagram in the book is explicitly disclosed in the book's front matter — whether hand-illustrated or produced with the assistance of artificial intelligence tools.

This page summarizes the outcome of that editorial review. The care behind it reflects the same standard applied to every book in this series.
